It pours, man it pours! Today, February 27, we competed in a dog show in Rancho Cordova. The weather reports predicted the night rains would weaken and cease during the morning, so most of us dog exhibitors were unpleasantly surprised when the rain did not let up. Instead, it poured buckets, pooling on the lawn until the grass gave up and was lost in the mud. Hen in the playpen

This big yellow hen, a Cochin I believe, has been making her nest in the puppy play pen every day.
She does not seem to care if there are pups in it or not.
Pilgrim has decided to snoop around in the playpen.

Today in Pilgrim's first day of showing for points he was awarded Best of Winners in Show 2 in Rancho Cordova, CA! Thank you Judge Mark Golden for recognizing our boy's quality!
It is such a great feeling when a home bred pup becomes a winner! We believe that Show Off Farm's Yours R the Eyes (Pilgrim) will continue to have an illustrious show career. Beloved pups are 5 weeks old

At one month of age Seth and Billy Jean weigh in at about 2 pounds 6 ounces, while little Patience is a bit lighter at 2 pounds 4 ounces. They play outside every day, quickly developing their balance and motor skills. Everything is a new adventure!
Seth and Billy Jean head out together.
Seth and Patience enjoy the morning. Patience
